Breathe Deeply. Take time to stop and breathe. Breathe deeply so your diaphragm expands. Some call if "belly breathing." Research shows that deep breaths lowers cortisol, the stress hormone that puts us into fight/flight/freeze/surrender. Less cortisol, less stress response. More thinking, more understanding, more humour. Deep breaths for one and all!
